these straight trousers have a classic, minimal design with a single tuck at the front.
the straight silhouette go with any outfit, created with a new balance that the brand has never seen before. includes an internal waist tie and belt loops. while the cupro lining runs to below the knee for comfortable wearing.

  • body - wool 100%
  • lining - cupro 100%
  • made in Japan

the material:

it is an original striped material, reinterpreted using archive materials found in the warehouse of a historic machine shop in Bishu, with unique arrangements of blends and colour gradients.

the warp yarn is made of black dyed 2/48 woo,l, and the weft yarn is of a different colour with a subdued colour density, resulting in a deep colour.
the herringbone structure based on a 2/2 twill weave is designed so that the colours of the warp and weft are mixed evenly, and the pattern emerges vaguely.
the fabric is woven slowly on an old loom, resulting in a fabric with an uneven, dry, stiff, and unique texture.

it has a unique presence as if it were an antique, which current fabrics do not have. the tasteful ageing process that accompanies the use of this fabric is enjoyable.

yoko sakamoto

Yoko Sakamoto believes that by creating designs that do not interfere with the nature of the materials and silhouettes, we can make the most of their original qualities of the materials.

They hope to pass on and communicate the skills of the craftsmen involved in our work in a better way and that this will lead to the creation of products that will enrich the lives of the wearers and be one of their favourite items in their closet the would have for a long time to come.
