Brushed Wool
This generously sized scarf is woven from a blend of colorful spun-top yarns on traditional looms at a historic mill in Bishu, Japan. The merino wool spun-top yarn is not twisted, but rather intertwined using a technique called air corlak, where air pressure is used to combine three different colored yarns. This process preserves the softness of the individual yarns, resulting in a scarf with a wonderfully airy, fluffy texture, excellent warmth retention, and a voluminous drape. Each scarf features a total of six colors, achieved by blending three colors in both the warp and weft.
