Shop Host (Part-Time)
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Shop Host, you're often the first person a client meets on the floor, and the reason they come back. You'll report to the store owner(s) and work alongside a small, considered team, helping clients find pieces they'll wear for years. This is a part-time role for someone who loves the day-to-day of a retail floor and wants to grow!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Welcome clients onto the floor and give them your full attention, whether they're browsing or buying
- Offer genuine, informed styling advice, grounded in an understanding of how things are made
- Help keep the floor considered and consistent - product, presentation, and pace
- Support clienteling: remember regulars, take notes, and help the team follow up with the right people at the right time
- Lend a hand at in-store events, from setup to hosting to breakdown
- Keep an eye on stock as you go, and flag what's moving and what isn't
What we're looking for
- Experience working in retail (3+ years)
- A genuine interest in fashion, craft, and the stories behind what we carry
- Warm, direct, and comfortable talking to people
- Available for a mix of weekday and weekend shifts (2–3 shifts/week to start)
- Reliable, on time, and happy to pitch in wherever the day needs it
Bonus: an appreciation for wine, and an interest in learning more about it
