Studio Shirt - Natural Dye

Part of the in-house Grays line. This unisex shirt was designed with inspiration from a Japanese work shirt. Standard fitting upper, with a tapered fit towards the hem and a slight crop. Perfect for leaning over a work table, or kitchen counter, keeping things tight to the body.

These shirts were dyed by Rachel MacHenry, professor of the natural dying course at Toronto Metropolitan University. Dyed at the school.

 Limited to just three, one per size.

Two deep pleats on either side give a voluminous look when it is buttoned up. 

Hand-sewn silk thread running up the front from the bottom hem to the shoulder. 

Made from deadstock fabric sourced in Toronto.

This cotton/ angora wool mix is in a natural colour. The cotton provides some stiffness, making it seem structured, while the wool gives a body and softness. This shirt can work dressed up or worn quite casually.
