WORK WITH US

We're building something rooted in craft, curiosity, and care — across our own collections, the designers we carry, and everything in between — if that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Store Lead (Full Time)

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Store Lead, you'll be the person who keeps the store running with care and precision, reporting directly to the store owner. You'll build relationships with our clients over time, help them find pieces they'll keep for years, and co-lead the intimate client events that define the Grays experience. This is a full-time, hands-on role for someone who has spent real time on a retail floor and is ready to lead one with intention.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Open and run the store day to day, keeping the floor, the team, and the client experience considered and consistent
  • Build relationships with clients and reach out with personal recommendations (clienteling) so they return, season after season
  • Plan and lead intimate client events, from small in-store gatherings to bigger seasonal moments
  • Guide clients with genuine, informed styling advice, grounded in an understanding of how things are made
  • Keep a close eye on sales and stock, and note what's resonating and what isn't
  • Communicate clearly and directly with the store owner and anyone else you're working with

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in retail sales
  • A track record of building lasting client relationships, and a clear, direct communication style
  • A customer-first mindset and a genuine interest in a considered, luxury-level experience
  • Available to work 5 days a week (37 hours), including weekends
  • A real interest in craftsmanship, styling, and event planning

Bonus: an appreciation for wine, and an interest in learning more about it
