these simple 5-pocket denim trousers are inspired by rustic house brand items from a
much older era. The straight silhouette is thick and easy to match with any outfit. the tuck buttons are made of iron and are not painted. they gradually rust, giving them a unique texture and look. different from the colours of ordinary denim, you can enjoy the unique aging process, and every time you wear and wash it, it will become your unique piece of clothing.

  • cotton 100%
  • made in Japan

the material:

INDIGO SUMI INK GARMENT DYE: this special item is hand-dyed by skilled craftsmen at a historic dyeing factory in Kyoto, where each garment is garment-dyed by hand with indigo ink, and then dyed over again with black ink. the more you wear it, the more you will enjoy its unique change over time.

due to the hand-dyeing process by craftsmen, the colouring and unevenness of each piece will vary. For products that have been washed and dyed, we take the utmost care in creating these products, but there may be cases where the dye may transfer depending on the situation. please understand this in advance. the natural unevenness of the dyeing, stains, and the feeling of being hit, etc., unique to natural dyeing, is used to the maximum extent.

yoko sakamoto

Yoko Sakamoto believes that by creating designs that do not interfere with the nature of the materials and silhouettes, we can make the most of their original qualities of the materials.

They hope to pass on and communicate the skills of the craftsmen involved in our work in a better way and that this will lead to the creation of products that will enrich the lives of the wearers and be one of their favourite items in their closet the would have for a long time to come.
